Roundup of 2016 from BBP Regeneration

Despite the ups and downs of 2016, our clients remain as committed as ever to realising the potential of the communities that they work within, as well as creating enduring and popular new places.

This year, working closely alongside our associates and partner firms, BBP Regeneration has been pleased to support:

  • Delivery of ambitious Housing Zones in Romford and Rainham
  • Developing business cases to support Local Growth Deal funding across a number of Local Enterprise Partnerships
  • Spatial growth options studies in Oxfordshire, the Luton Housing Market Area and Central Bedfordshire
  • Preparation of an Economic Development Strategy for Thanet District
  • Viability and impact assessment for numerous housing estate regeneration projects, including three across the London Borough of Merton, as well as in Romford and Southend town centres
  • Feasibility and funding work for workspace projects in South Kilburn and Basildon, as well as a study on the provision of grow-on space across Essex
  • Developing an exciting ‘master vision’ for the future of Swanley and Hextable
  • Dover District Council on its transformative St James’s town centre regeneration, and Aylesham Village expansion schemes
  • Local Authorities in securing new revenue streams from their land and property assets
  • The HCA in developing its new Direct Commissioning delivery model

A little further afield, we hope that our annual Christmas donation will help to alleviate the suffering of children in Syria, through Save the Children’s emergency appeal.

In 2017, we’ll be adding more ‘Hot topics’ to our new website.  We also have the UK’s new Industrial Strategy and Housing White Paper, further Local Growth Deals and devolution, and an increase in spending on economic infrastructure to look forward to… and who knows, we might finally find out what Brexit means!

Warm wishes for the festive period,

Rob, Stephen, Martin, Andy, Ricky and Elena
