Stephen Pritchard is a founding Partner of BBP with over 30 years’ experience in regeneration and development. He is a Chartered Surveyor who started his career with major London surveying practices, gaining knowledge of the agency and investment markets and professional valuation. Subsequently he became involved in providing development management services for major institutional clients on substantial out of town and town centre projects.
In 1986, he was recruited by the Costain Group where he was subsequently appointed a Director responsible for managing a significant development programme including central London office developments and regional town centre retailing projects. In 1992 he was appointed Development Director of English Partnerships’ Chatham Maritime scheme in North Kent responsible for setting up and managing a number of major infrastructure projects, commercial and residential developments. The project has gained many plaudits and has been recognised as an exemplar. In 1994 he co-founded BBP Regeneration and continued to provide development management services at Chatham Maritime.
Since then, Stephen has played a key role in the development of BBP’s property and regeneration business expanding its client base and geographical coverage establishing a reputation for BBP as leading experts in area and project based physical regeneration. His longstanding clients include the Homes and Communities Agency, a number of Local Enterprise Partnerships, local authorities and development companies. Stephen has presented evidence at planning and compulsory purchase inquiries and regularly presents to Council meetings and Committees.
